Last Friday, January 6, 2023, our goalkeeper Ivan Cuellar, entered the history of Real Sporting de Gijón as the oldest player to play an official match with the Asturian club.
At 38 years and 224 days old, Cuéllar surpassed Emilin, a striker who played for Sporting between 1949 and 1951 who played his last game at the age of 28 years and 205 days.
With this, Cuéllar has played a total of 11 seasons in the Asturian club, being one of the most important players in the club's history. We are very happy to see you meet your personal challenges and see you in top shape.
Let's go for many more seasons together!!
